Do expenses need to be supported by documents if they are paid through a bank?

A bank payment confirms payment but does not replace the original documents. Contracts, certificates, delivery notes, or invoices in the prescribed format are required to recognize expenses. Without these documents, expenses may be excluded during an audit.
